Google Chrome v 0.4.154.33 fixes Hotmail woes?

SADLY IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME!
Does it work for anyone?
After you update the ShortCut, the hotmail live.com javascript fails to run and a message can't be opened and the menu doesn't accept clicks.
Take out the browser declaration and the javascript runs but the message box is still disabled.
One other thing about this posting on ChromePlugins that reeks of a HOAX. The current Google is up to date message is version 1.0.154.36. so is 0.4.154.33 a type O!

When software is Beta, it's usually buggy! This one drove the Hotmail masses mad, if they tried to early adopt. The Hotmail Vs Chrome saga may have come to an end, as some sources. ie. ChromePlugins and Google Chrome Releases are reporting the glitch as fixed in an upcoming Dev Release.

Complete List of Changes in 0.4.154.33 reported by ChromePlugins

r6482 - It fixes the issue while composing mails and switching between folders in Hotmail. Since Hotmail still does not quite properly recognise Chrome, so to use the site with minimum bugs with hotmail you have to add the following code to the Google Chrome Shortcut you use to launch Google Chrome.
--user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1 Safari/525.19"
Steps:
Right Click on the Google Chrome Shortcut
Click on Properties
Copy-Paste the above code at the end of the Target File and click OK.

r6492 - Fixes the untranslated “Text zoom” Menu while switching the Chrome Language to any of the localised language

  1. I'm also getting the same problems with Java. With the added code on launch, Chrome works OK, mostly, with Hotmail. But trying, for example, to log on to another computer on my network with LogMeIn, Java fails to run. So, sticking with the straight .42 Dev release minus the added Safari code for the moment, and running Windows Live in Firefox.
