What is LittleShoot? Well it's a new tool which has been developed by the folks who brought us Limewire, the popular P2P file sharing client. LittleShoot takes concepts of LimeWire one step further. It can be basically described in as P2P sharing through a browser, or it's self declaration of “P2P 2.0”.
While using LittleShoot you can share files using your browser and stream P2P downloads while searching services like YouTube and Flickr.
The three main functions of LittleShoot can then be defined as downloading, searching and publishing in a browser-based setting.
The ultimate goal of LittleShoot is to conjure up a tool that can contribute to the welfare of the public, by taking into account both its opinion and its input.
Now will LittleShoot be the next destination of PirateWare and Warez alike? Will It provide the same type of content and speeds as LimeWire.. Let hope not. In my opinion Limewire is slow, full of garbage and laced with adware and spyware trojans. Hopefully LittleShoot can provide some sort of content rating systems that allow the community the ability to rate submissions. Giving a voice to the community. Unlike LimeWire.
