So recent news on airlines taking images of laptop harddrives as new practice, has lawfirms, businesses and the like all in a tiff! Non-Disclosure means it's not for anyones eyes right, well wrong. Airport securities are rumored, taking images of passengers laptop HDs. Now I can see this to be useful for national sercurities and such, but its still an invasion of privacy. So what to do, well you can encrypt your whole HD, make a hidden encrypted partition or use a virtual HD file and encrypt it. TrueCrypt helps encrypt USB HD, Sticks and OS partitions. Remember the stronger the password the stronger the cypher, the less chance you'll be seeing you companies gaurded information floating around the web!
