This week I had a near miss with losing all of the pictures of my little girl for the past 4 months. It has occured to me that you even though I use a external HD and also make DVD copies to backup files, that this doesn't get done as much as it should. Why?
Probably because, when I think about doing the backup. I don't have the external drive hooked up or I don't have a DVDR handy! So now, all I have to do is connect to the web, and copy the files up!
Store your photos secure, online. 2 GB free!
I went looking for an online company that I could get diskspace to secure my files online. it had to have an easy to use interface. I found Diino they give
2GB free
, in a secure online account. Since the chance of my HD doing a super dive into the toilet the same time as the online storage system. I have a better feeling about my data recovery strategy.
I'm now going to use
Diino
each time I've done an upload to my computer from the camera or video camera.
Diino has a small desktop client to assist in the upload and downloading of your files.
